Rocky 6 Update
The reaction to the script for ROCKY BALBOA aka ROCKY 6 has been mostly guardedly positive meaning that there seems to be great potential for a dynamite flick granted they do a few minor tweaks. The first review of the film that the folks over at AICN recently posted essentially echoes that sentiment with the reviewer pointing out "Right now it is pretty disappointing. There are some serious edits and pacing issues that need to be resolved before November. Keep in mind that this was the very first preview of the movie. Even in its current form it is 600 times better that Rocky V. There is some serious hope that this could be a very good or even great movie with some edits to it. No Mr. T cameo. No Talia Shire cameo. Fantastic performances by Stallone and Burt Young. Rocky and Paulie have some of the best scenes in the whole series in this movie." Could this be the Rocky film we've been waiting for since Rocky I or maybe II? (depending on where you make the cut-off for the drop in quality) Read the rest of the review over HERE. i think thats great news, thats exactly what those test screenings are for, (man do i envy those bastards who got to see this already!) so stallone & co. can figure out what needs to be cut and what needs to be tweaked, the guy who saw it says the screening was full and the movie has great potential
and im loving the dec opening! what an amazing Christmas gift rocky 6 will be!

antonio tarver was on jim romes radio show today and they talked alot about the movie. i wasnt getting too excited about rocky 6 because of the pain i felt sitting through rocky 5. after the interview im starting to feel better about this one...maybe they will end it right this time
